Recycled PET (rPET)
Food-contact rPET, engineered to virgin-equivalent performance.
Post-consumer rPET decontaminated to food-contact standards and tuned to drop straight into existing lines — with FDA Letters of No Objection, EFSA approvals and full chain-of-custody, so circular carries no quality penalty.

Super-clean PCR PET
Post-consumer bottles are sorted, washed, shredded to flake and re-extruded into pellets — keeping the polymer chain intact. A super-clean decontamination step removes migrants, and these processes hold FDA Letters of No Objection and EFSA approvals, making mechanical rPET the established, lowest-energy route for food-contact bottle-to-bottle recycling.
Each cycle causes a small IV drop and a slight rise in yellowness (higher b*, lower L*), corrected via solid-state IV build and light colour adjustment.
Monomer-grade depolymerised PET
Depolymerisation breaks PET back to its building blocks — BHET, DMT or purified PTA + MEG depending on the route (glycolysis, methanolysis or hydrolysis) — which are purified and re-polymerised into new PET.
Because the recycle history is erased at the monomer level, the output is virgin-equivalent on IV, colour, AA and DEG, and can take coloured or mixed feedstock. EFSA and FDA recognise these routes for food contact; Renovia sources from audited partners with full mass-balance documentation.
What PCR percentages are available?
Standard grades at 30%, 50%, 75% and 100% post-consumer content. FDA LNO and EFSA approvals are available up to 100% PCR for food contact.
Does rPET perform differently from virgin?
Grades are engineered to virgin-equivalent IV, colour and processing. At very high PCR a slight yellowness (b*) shift can appear, managed with colour correction or by blending with virgin.
Where does the feedstock come from?
Certified collection streams — primarily deposit-return and curbside. Every batch carries origin, processing history and GRS chain-of-custody documentation.
Can I use rPET for carbonated drinks?
Yes. Bottle grade (IV 0.80–0.84) is built for CSD with strong CO₂ retention and pressure resistance, including 100% recycled-content bottles.
