Virgin PET Resin
High-clarity, food-grade polyester resin — built to ASTM D4602 / DIN 6182.
Premium-grade PET for high-clarity packaging and high-tenacity fibre, with full food-contact and pharmaceutical compliance — the dependable baseline where clarity, strength and consistency cannot be compromised.
| Property | Bottle | Sheet | Fibre | Low-CEG |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Intrinsic viscosity | 0.80–0.84 | 0.76–0.80 | 0.64–0.72 | 0.71–0.80 |
| Acetaldehyde (AA) | < 1.0 ppm | < 1.5 ppm | N/A | < 1.0 ppm |
| Colour (L*) | > 90 | > 88 | > 85 | > 90 |
| Carboxyl end groups | < 30 | < 30 | < 30 | < 15 mmol/kg |
Standard PET carries carboxyl end groups (CEG) below 30 mmol/kg. In hot, humid service these catalyse hydrolytic chain scission, slowly cutting molecular weight and strength.
Our Low-CEG grade targets < 15 mmol/kg via optimised solid-state polymerisation — markedly better hydrolytic stability for hot-fill bottles, technical fibre and long-life industrial packaging.

What is the minimum order quantity?
Container loads start at 20 MT (one 20ft container). Sample quantities of 100–500 kg are available for qualified buyers evaluating the material.
Is it food-safe certified?
Yes — FDA 21 CFR 177.1630 (US) and EU 1935/2004 & 10/2011 (EU) compliant, with migration testing, EFSA registration and BRC certification.
What are typical lead times?
Ex-stock grades ship in 2–3 weeks; custom grades 4–6 weeks; samples within 5–7 business days.
